Arkitektika fully supports the Gold Coast City Council initiative to assist promoting quality design and built outcomes for the city and improve the quality of the experience of our built environment.

Renowned Queensland Architect, Gabriel Poole, commented that “if we build better buildings we will grow better people”. At Arkitektika we see that applicable to the broader built environment and spanning from public parklands to “real” buildings.

If we apply this principle and built better environments it will improve the experience for individuals, benefit the whole community, and lead to improved outcomes for society.

We are therefore very proud that we received recognition not just for the Urban Design qualities of the Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park SLSC, but also for the recognition of it for Environmental Sensitivity.
