gold coast development indicatorsGold Coast City Council recently released updated development statistics for the October to December 2011 quarter. During this period, the overall Development Applications remained steady, however Material Change of Use applications are up by 10%. In the same period, the Development Applications decided has increased very slightly.

Building Applications dropped around 2% during the period, with Building Approval’s for housing dropping the greatest, approximately 13%, while most other categories remained basically steady.

While these statistics prove that it has generally been “steady as we go”, Arkitektika’s internal monitoring and tracking continues to show increased enquiry primarily with multi-residential development and urban consolidation projects.
