Gold Coast City Council resolved on 20 February 2012 to waive transport infrastructure charges (State), which is a charge for the local transport function of the State road network.

An applicant who has received an infrastructure charges notice associated with development on or after 8 January 2007, where the infrastructure charges have not been paid and the date for payment of charges was not triggered on or before 30 January 2012, is eligible for the waiver.

More information on this initiative can be found in the Factsheet – Partial waiver on infrastructure charges
